Theglobe.com, an Internet communications company, will acquire SendTec, Inc., a leading provider of online and offline direct marketing services.
Terms were not disclosed.
The transaction is expected to close during this week.
Under the merger agreement, SendTec will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ft. Lauderdale, FL-based theglobe.com.
In addition, Voiceglo, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of theglobe.com, will reportedly benefit from the new SendTec relationship by leveraging SendTec’s marketing and technical resources.
