The History Channel has named marketing executive Chris Moseley as senior vice president of marketing.
In her new role, Moseley will oversee all marketing, promotional and branding campaigns for The History Channel and its domestic networks, including History International, The History Channel en espanol and Military History Channel and History.com. She will also be in charge of the creative implementation of new marketing strategies, including advertising, on-air consumer marketing and branding.
Moseley reports to Nancy Dubuc, executive vice president and general manager, The History Channel.
Moseley left Moseley Marketing Inc. to join the network. As the agency president, she developed and executed marketing, branding and corporate strategies for a variety of companies, including Lexus and Hendricks Investment Holdings, LLC.
Prior to that, she was the founding chief marketing officer and executive vice president worldwide marketing and brand strategy for Hallmark Channels, where she helped launch the U.S. channel. Moseley also held a top-level marketing post at Discovery Communications, Inc., where she helped launch TLC, Animal Planet, Travel, Discovery Digital Networks, Discovery.com, Discovery Stores, Discovery International and Discovery Consumer Products.
