T.G.I Friday's Launches 'BBQ Sweeps'

T.G.I Friday’s is out with a sweepstakes that offers people a chance to attend an upcoming Jack Daniels barbecue competition in Tennessee.

Visitors to www.Fridays.com/sweeps can enter “Friday’s Awesome BBQ Sweepstakes through Sept. 30. The top winner will receive a trip for two to the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue in Lynchburg, TN, on Oct. 24-25, including airfare, lodging and event expenses. The prize package also includes a tour of Jack Daniels’ distillery, a barbecue kit, a $200 Friday’s gift card and a year’s worth of Friday’s frozen snacks and meals.

Friday’s restaurants serve Jack Championship BBQ sauce on seven menu items at more than 600 restaurants. It’s the recipe Chad Hayden, competition’s grand champion, created last year, the company said.

First time sweeps entrants will receive a coupon toward Friday’s frozen snacks. In addition, Friday’s is giving out instant-win prizes, including Jack Daniel’s T-shirts and caps, free Friday’s appetizer and dessert certificates with the purchase of an entrée and gift cards.
