Successories, an Aurora, IL-based motivational products marketer, reported a net loss of $272,000 for the quarter ended July 29, a 65% improvement over the net loss of $769,000 for the same quarter of last year.
Direct marketing revenue for the quarter increased to $1.2 million, a 15.4% increase over the previous year’s second quarter. Sales to franchisees and comparable company-owned store sales also increased relative to the prior year: 0.9% for sales to franchisees and 6.3% for comparable company-owned stores.
