Strategic Marketing Solutions Inc., a list brokerage firm that specialized in conservative political and religious lists, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last week and a meeting for creditors has been scheduled for Aug. 22, according to court documents.
Offices in Rockwall, TX apparently have been closed. Company president Beth Cathey could not be reached for comment; no one answers the telephone and the Web site strategiclistmarketing.com was not accessible.
Strategic Marketing, which also conducted business under the name Strategic List Marketing Inc., filed for bankruptcy on July 11 at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas division.
