Statlistics Inc., Danbury, CT, has been named to manage the PennWell e-mail and postal files. The appointment took effect Jan. 7.
The postal files total more than 940,000 corporate and IS/DP executives who subscribe to one or more of PennWell’s 28 publications. The publications are: Advanced Packaging; Cabling Installation and Maintenance; CleanRooms; Color Publishing; Computer Artist; Computer Graphics World; Connector Specifier; Data Storage; Digital magic; Electronic Publishing; Electronic Systems Technology and Design; Image Processing Europe; Industrial Laser Solutions; Infostor; Integrated Communications Design; Laser Focus World; Lightwave; Military and Aerospace Electronics; Networking Management; OSP Engineering and Construction; Palm Computing Platform; PennWell High-tech Database, International Database and Professional Women; Portable Design; Solid State Technology; surface Mount Technology; Vacuum and Thinfilm; VB Tech Journal; vision Systems Design; WDM Solutions: Windows NT Users, Tech Journal and Wireless Integration.
The postal file had been managed in house while the 16 e-mail lists had been managed by IDG Communication List Services.
“In an effort to more effectively control overhead and simultaneously increase list rental revenues, we decided to move our list rental activities to a list management company,” Gloria Adams, circulation director for PennWell’s Advanced Technology Division, said in a statement.
