Staples Taps LeBlanc for New Marketing Post

Staples has named Don LeBlanc as senior vice president of retail marketing, a new post.

In his new role, LeBlanc is responsible for the strategic, creative, operational and financial aspects of marketing for Staples’ U.S. retail business, a company spokesperson said. The post takes effect immediately.

LeBlanc replaces Shira Goodman, Staples’ executive vice president of marketing, who will become executive vice president of human resources effective on May 1.

Before his promotion, LeBlanc was senior vice president of marketing strategy for Staples’ retail business. He will retain his previous role in addition to his new duties, the spokesperson said.
