The Spiegel Group plans to close 60 under-performing Eddie Bauer stores as part of a multi-phase reorganization process.
The stores will remain open pending approval of a store-closing plan by the Bankruptcy Court.
Eddie Bauer operates 529 stores in the United States and Canada.
The Spiegel Group filed for Ch. 11 bankruptcy in March.
