Wig and fashion accessories cataloger Specialty Catalog Corp., based in South Easton, MA, has acquired the assets of American Healthcare Institute (AHI), a private Maryland-based continuing-education seminar and conference provider.
Terms were not disclosed
The company will combine AHI with its SC Publishing business, which has reportedly established itself in home-study continuing education for nurses under its Western Schools brand. In 1998, Western Schools mailed more than four million catalogs and currently owns a customer database of over 250,000 nurses.
