A new home-shopping channel, Thane Direct Shop Around the Clock, is about to be launched by Thane Direct, London. Richard Whinfrey will head up the new venture.
Ruth M. Owades has been named to the board of Armstrong Holdings Inc., a company that designs and manufactures floors, ceilings and cabinets. Owades is the founder and former chair of Calyx & Corolla catalog.
The net.marketing pre-conference workshop on May 6 has moved its location to the Soho Complex room at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Broadway at 45th St. in New York’s Time Square. The conference and exhibition portion on May 7 and 8, will remain at the Hilton New York.
