Shopping network ShopNBC has formed a commerce initiative with American Online Inc. to promote its products on a number of AOL Web sites and through AOL’s Deal of the Day program. AOL will be promoted as ShopNBC’s preferred Internet service provider on some computers marketed through ShopNBC sales channels.
