Tom Petters chairman of the Petters Group Worldwide, which owns Fingerhut Companies, has donated $10 million to Miami University in Oxford, OH, in memory of his son John Petters who died recently.
The Direct Marketing Association has issued a reminder that Louisiana law prohibits telemarketing during a state of emergency. It recommended that members cease any outbound telemarketing activities until the emergency decree following Hurricane Ivan has been lifted.
