Dotomi Inc., a Boston-based Internet banner advertising agency has received $10.5 million in new funding from Investment Growth Capital, a venture capital and private equity group owned by Investor AB, an industrial holding company.

True North Inc., a New York-based direct response and interactive marketing agency has opened a San Francisco office. The new office will serve clients such as Buena Vista Home Entertainment, ThomasNet.com and David’s Bridal, among others.

Harte-Hanks Inc. has appointed Matthew P. Leonard as information policy director, a newly created position for dealing with privacy and information regulatory compliance issues. Leonard previously worked for IBM.

Stockholders have approved the election of seven directors at Traffix Inc., an online lead generation company based in Pearl River, NY. The members of the board of directors are Jeffrey L. Schwartz, Andrew Stollman, Murray L. Skala, Edwin A. Levy, Lawrence Burnstein, Mark Gutterman and Robert B. Machinist.

Millard Group Inc. has renamed its marketing services division Decision Direct Research to more clearly state the types of services it offers: research, analysis, planning and strategic consulting. The division was founded more than 10 years ago.
