Direct mail will be included the media mix in a co-promotion involving Paramount Pictures’ new film Alfie and Piaggio USA’s new motorcycle model Vespa Granturisimo. Sixty-six participating dealerships will send direct mail to consumers offering certificates for free movie tickets, which must be picked up at the dealers to generate traffic. The film opens on Nov. 5.

Transcontinental CC3 has changed the name of its direct marketing division to Transcontinental Direct U.S.A. Inc. The Montreal based firm had acquired a company formerly known as CC3 in December 2003.
