Shopping.com Launches First TV Effort

Shopping.com Inc., an online marketer, has launched its first TV advertising campaign.

The budget was not disclosed.

The campaign’s initial 30-second broadcast spot, which began airing Monday in New York, San Francisco and Portland, OR, is a test to gauge how effectively offline media can influence consumer behavior online.

The effort was developed by San Francisco-based Publicis & Hal Riney Advertising.
