School Specialty Inc. posted net income of $36.9 million for the first quarter, a 6.6% increase over $34.6 million last year.
The educational supplies marketer posted revenues of $385.4 million for the quarter ended July 29, a 7.6% hike.
The Greenville, WI firm attributed these results partly to revenue from Delta Education which it acquired earlier this year.
