Rivet has hired Liz Robinson as senior vice president, strategic planning director.
As strategic planning director for Rivet, Robinson will be based in Chicago and will manage the planning function for the entire network, including offices in St. Louis, San Francisco, New York and Toronto. The post took effect June 14.
She replaces Elizabeth Harris who left in May for another opportunity.
Most recently, she worked as director of planning at Saatchi & Saatchi X where she focused on shopper marketing for clients like P&G, Nestlé and Mead Johnson.
She has over 20 years of planning experience, including a stint with Monsanto handling research analysis and insight direction. Her more recent planning experience includes leadership positions at Ogilvy Action, handling clients such as Unilever, Kraft and Quaker.
“Liz has a broad base of business-building experience in areas such as traditional advertising, promotions, one-to-one marketing, research, and Intranet-based communications,” said Managing Director Tom Hansen, in a release. “She’ll add a lot of value to our current clients and new prospects.”
Robinson is also a frequent writer and speaker on new product development and legal claim substantiation research, Robinson also is the past publisher and a contributing writer to the trade magazine New Product Sightings. She is also a contributing author for the published work, Developing New Food Products for a Changing Marketplace.
Rivet has offices in Chicago, St. Louis, New York, San Francisco and Toronto.
