Harte-Hanks Inc., based in San Antonio, TX, has reported $277.5 million in fourth quarter revenues, reflecting an 8.5 increase from the $255.7 million in revenues reported for the same quarter in 2003.
“Direct marketing performance in the fourth quarter was superb, with revenue growth of 11.9% and operating income up 26.9% over the prior year,” said Richard Hochhauser, CEO of Harte-Hanks, in a prepared statement.
The company reported more than $1 billion in operating revenues for 2004, compared to $944.5 million in 2003, a better than 9% increase.
Harte-Hanks has declared a quarterly dividend of five cents per share payable to shareholders on March 15.
During 2004 Harte-Hanks expanded its circulation of shopper publications by approximately 600,000 copies, primarily in California and southern Florida.
