It’s may be difficult to rent or buy a home in the heart of New York City, but Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa are building a 3,000-square-foot house at their ABC midtown lot through a partnership with KB Homes.
In its biggest contest to date, “Live with Regis and Kelly” will give away a new home (worth up to $250,000) in a KB Home community of the winner’s choice in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina or Texas. To plug the giveaway, Philbin and Ripa will oversee the construction and choose Los Angeles-based KB Home customization options.
From April 24 to April 30, “Live” will air a daily clue; the viewer who sends in correct answers for all clues wins the home, given away on air May 21. Entries will be accepted by mail or at liveregisandkelly.com through May 15. Runner-up prizes include Bloomingdale’s and Whirlpool gift certificates, of $50,000 and $25,000 respectively.
