Reed’s Inc. plans to debut some diet soft drinks.
The company will launch diet versions of its Virgil’s Root Beer and Cream sodas in the second quarter.
“The addition of the diet line to our product portfolio will allow us to reach a larger audience, further expand our distribution network and drive top line growth for 2007 and beyond,” said Chris Reed, founder and CEO, in a statement.
The products will be available in supermarkets and warehouse clubs nationwide.
In a separate development, the company reported fourth quarter sales of $2.6 million, a 10.1% jump over the same period lat year. For the year ended Dec. 3.
