Cotton, Inc. and Real Simple Magazine will sponsor a cause-marketing blitz at 105 malls this holiday season.
The Real Simple Festival of Giving will run in General Growth Properties’ malls this month and next, with tie-ins to local non-profits. Shoppers pay $5 to $10 for tickets to an evening of private shopping and entertainment; non-profits, which sell the tickets, keep all the money raised.
Sponsors Cotton, Inc. and Real Simple provide free gift-wrapping, discounts and gifts with purchase. Cotton, Inc. will give a $15 mall gift card to shoppers who purchase $100 in cotton merchandise during the event.
The effort ran in 10 GGP malls last year, with Real Simple as title sponsor.
