Rapp Collins Worldwide has named Ian Haworth as its first global chief creative officer, effective immediately. Haworth previously was creative director, Rapp Collins Europe and chairman of WWAV Rapp Collins London. He will continue to be based in London.
Haworth has been at WWAV Rapp Collins for four years. He was previously executive creative director at Tequila Worldwide and spent several years in New Zealand as creative director of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington.
Rapp Collins also made the following personnel changes:
Michael Sugzda has moved into the role of vice chairman, North America, and will focus his time exclusively on connecting Rapp Collins with large companies needing direct marketing services;
James Lyons was promoted from managing director, New York, to president, North America, and will oversee operations for the full-service offices in New York, Dallas, and Los Angeles;
Cynthia Davis, currently managing director, Dallas, has been promoted to president of Global Development and Communications; and
Helen Hibbott, who was senior vice president and group account director, has assumed the managing director role for the New York office.
Additionally, Rebecca Weigman has joined Rapp Collins as managing director, Dallas.
