QVC Inc. has teamed up with OpenTV, an interactive television company, to develop and launch a real-time interactive television shopping service.
This service reportedly will enable viewers to use their remote control to make purchases at the same time.
The service is expected to launch this summer and is expected to be available over time to 1.3 million digital homes on both the Motorola DCT 2000 and the Scientific Atlanta Explorer set-top boxes.
