Packaged goods marketers Quaker Oats and Veryfine Products have joined forces with Coupons.com to launch an Internet-based system that enables consumers to print and eventually redeem grocery coupons from those companies’ Web sites.
“Our ‘Bricks’ system provides our partners with a cost-effective, secure, online method for converting their own Web site traffic into actual in-store shoppers,” said Coupons.com CEO Steven Boal, in a statement. “Retailers are making major investments to create an online presence, where the ultimate goal is to drive shoppers into physical stores, ‘Bricks’ helps recoup these costs.”
