Q Motor Oil Thanks Customers with Relationship Site

Q motor oil has launched an auto information and entertainment Web site, which can be accessed from any cell phone.
The site, QPower Mobile at Qpower.com, was created as a thank you to its customers for their loyalty, said Troy Chapman, director of marketing for Q motor oil, in a statement.

One capability that lets Q Motor Oil stay in regular contact with consumers if the oil change reminder, which sends a text message to subscribers that its time for an oil change and makes recommendations for the best Q motor oil based on the cell users vehicle.

In addition, subscribers have access to download free mobile content such as racing games, NASCAR alerts, wallpapers of Q drivers and cars, racing trivia, videos and ring tones such as engine sounds.

“Q motor oil’s target consumer is the elusive male 18-34 demographic who tend to be selective users of traditional media, but are heavily invested into digital, web-enabled technologies, such as cell phones,” said Andrew Blotner, Group Director for MediaCom, the media agency for Q motor oil, in a statement. “Our challenge of effectively reaching this audience for Q was to break out of the clutter of motor oil advertising in a way that would be relevant, entertaining and useful.”

Content available on QPower Mobile will include race day results text message alerts, personalized autographs and collector cards of the nine drivers sponsored by Q: Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Terry Labonte, Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, Steve Kinser, Kenny Tran, Tony Pedregon and Cruz Pedregon. The service is provided by MindMatics.

Users access QPower Mobile on their WAP browser by going to wap.qpower.com. Alternately, they can send a text message with the word QPOWER to 94444 from their mobile phone and receive a link to the desired WAP portal.
