Orion Marketing Group Inc. will build a customer call center in Brownsville, TX and plans to hire 250 people over the next two years.
The San Antonio-based company will begin hiring for 40 positions by mid-August to provide customer-acquisition, customer service and live-chat services for financial firms.
Orion said the expansion into the South Texas town will support the call center operations of an unnamed large financial institution.
The company also said it would work closely with University of Texas at Brownsville and the Brownsville Economic Development Council to develop a career path for telemarketing reps.
