OgilvyAction Names Gareth Ellen to Lead Digital

OgilvyAction has named Gareth Ellen director of the North American digital activation team, effective immediately.

Ellen will be managing digital activation efforts for the firms North American offices: New York, Chicago, Stamford, CT, Atlanta and Toronto.

“Every day, we see our clients, their customers and shoppers trying to navigate the new digital landscape,” said Sheila Hartnett, global CEO OgilvyAction. “Understanding how to leverage digital touch points and influence behavior is now a strategic imperative.”

For the past three years, Ellen had been developing digital programs for Kodak, SAP, Zurich and TDAmeritrade among others as part of OgilvyInteractive.

Prior to Ogilvy, he had worked with such brands as Absolut, Hilton Hotels, Martha Stewart, Estee Lauder and Nextel.

OgilvyAction is the brand activation and shopper marketing arm of The Ogilvy Group.
