Next Generation Media Posts Q3 Losses

Next Generation Media Corp., the parent company of direct mailer and franchisor United Marketing Solutions, reported drops in both revenue and earnings for third-quarter 2007.

Q3 revenues at the Springfield VA-based company were $1.97 million, a drop of about 10% from $2.19 million in the same period last year. For the quarter, Next Generation posted a net loss of $128,918, compared to earnings of $5,014 year over year.

The company’s revenue for the first nine months of 2006 was $6.18 million, off slightly from $6.51 million at this time last year. Earnings showed a net loss of $217,787 during the first three quarters of this year, compared to a profit of $92,505 during the same period in 2005.

Through United Marketing, next Generation Media provides direct marketing products to a network of franchisees, including cooperative direct-mail advertising, coupon booklets, image booklets, new-resident mailings, a restaurant marketing kit and products for special events and grand openings.
