LOEWS CINEPLEX ENTERTAINMENT AND SCREENVISION:

have entered into an exclusive agreement for pre-show slide advertising across Loews’ 153 theatres nationwide.

MCDONALD’S CORP: has appointed Tim Fenton to the role of division president, McDonald’s USA East Division and will be in charge of the 5,000 restaurants in that area. Fenton most recently served as senior VP of Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa for Oak Brook, IL-based McD. Fenton, a 29-year company veteran, will report to Executive VP and Chief Operations Officer Ralph Alvarez.

DRAFTWORLDWIDE: has changed its name to Draft, effective immediately, a name many people inside and outside the company have used to identify the agency for years, the company said. To differentiate its individual offices, each will add the city in which it is based to the names, i.e. Draft Chicago, Draft New York, Draft London, etc. The agency also adopted a new logo and relaunched its Web site.

FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION: will host a public forum to explore issues relating to the proliferation of and potential solutions to unsolicited commercial e-mail. The forum begins April 30 and continues through May 2. It will be held at the FTC, 601 New Jersey Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC. The event is open to the public, and there is no fee for attendance. Pre-registration is not required.
