THE GOLF CHANNEL:

Orlando, FL, premiered its newest series Golf With Style last Wednesday. The weekly series travels to some of the most beautiful sites worldwide. The first episode took viewers on an inside tour of Iceland where—during certain times of the year—you can play golf 24 hours a day. This Wednesday the shows heads to Reno, NV.

STARBUCKS: is offering complimentary copies of The New York Times on Sept. 23 to each of its first 200 customers at Starbucks across the Northeast.

KOOL-AID JAMMERS BEVERAGES AND RITZ BITS SANDWICH CRACKERS: hope to break the Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Flying Banner. The banner, 18,000 square feet, would beat out the current record holder of 7,000 square feet. The event takes place Friday at the Toronto City Centre Airport.

NICKELODEON’s: Let’s Just Play Atlanta event held in partnership with the City of Atlanta, the Parks Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department of Atlanta, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and the Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Boys & Girls Clubs attracted more than 8,5000 kids and parents. The event was held Sept. 13 at Grant Park. The presenting sponsor was VERB. The event is part of Nickelodeon’s national effort to get kids more physically active. It was the most successful event to date, Nickelodeon said.
