NICKELODEON:

brought its multi-year, national “Let’s Just Play” campaign to Miami on Feb. 21 with a park-wide game day and festival for kids and parents at Miami’s Tropical Park as a part of the company’s grassroots effort to get kids more physically active and to encourage positive, healthy and playful lifestyles.

MOVIE TUNES: formed an alliance with UniqueScreen Media allowing Movie Tunes to increase its current delivery rights of pre-show, on-screen programming to more than 4,000 movie screens in 100 U.S. markets by the end of 2004. Studio City, CA-based Movie Tunes programming provides audiences with music videos and allows record labels to market their artists’ videos to movie audiences.

DELTA AIR LINES: is offering gift cards, in various denominations of SkyMiles Program miles, at all Atlanta-area city ticket offices. The cards will sold in additional retail outlets later this year.

SIMON PROPERTY GROUP, INC.: has introduced co-branded gift cards with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs. The card is a prepaid gift card that can be used at Simon shopping centers.

BURGER KING: appointed John W. Chidsey to chief financial and administrative officer. Prior to his appointment at Burger King, Chidsey served as chairman and CEO for two corporate divisions at Cendant.

VH1: has promoted Mark McIntire to senior VP-sponsorship development and integrated marketing. He will oversee the creation and execution of all advertiser-driven marketing initiatives and sponsorship opportunities on-air, off-channel and off-line for VH1, VH1 Classic network and VH1.com.

KONAMI DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT: appointed Linda Osher to VP-content licensing last week, effective immediately. She will be responsible for content licensing including creating and negotiating new opportunities in the convergent areas of print, music, television, film and video games. Prior to joining Konami, Osher ran her own company, LJO Music Consulting, which provided music clearance and marketing services to clients including Nissan of North America, Lifetime Television and others.

HIT ENTERTAINMENT: launches the sixth Angelina Ballerina DVD, Lights, Camera, Action! with the help of a Discover Dance sweeps packaged with the DVD. The winner will receive a grand prize trip for four to New York City to see a performance by the world-renowned American Ballet Theatre.
