VERIZON WIRELESS: has renewed its sponsorship of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. The wireless carrier leverages its sponsorship with in-store appearances by Cowboys players and autograph sessions by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Customers can also participate in text message sessions with players.

HALLMARK CHANNEL: has named Cheryl Koll director, affiliate marketing for the network and Hallmark Movie Channel in Los Angeles. The appointment was effective Aug. 1. In her role, Koll works with the marketing and national distribution and services tea, to design and implement strategic and creative affiliate marketing campaigns, including trade ads, direct mail and promotions. She reports to Anthony White, VP-marketing for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel.
