REEBOK: has renewed its partnership with Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz. At an event yesterday in Boston, Ortiz unveiled his new Reebok signature baseball cleat, the Big Papi 2M Mid. The footwear will be available at retail in August and sell for $100.
THE GROSSEST REFRIGERATOR: will be the top winner in a contest for a new meal-delivery service. The service, called eDiets Deliciously Yours, ships meals customized by subscribers’ diet needs and tastes, for $16 or more per day. It launched yesterday with a contest offering a refrigerator makeover. Consumers submit photos of their dirty fridges to eDiets.com to vie for a new refrigerator and 10 weeks’ worth of eDiet meals. Ten runners-up win a week’s worth of eDiet food. Ft. Lauderdale, FL-based eDiet handles the contest in-house.
