KRAFT FOODS: has hired Nitro New York to handle integrated marketing for its Kraft Singles cheese brand in the U.S. and Canada. This is Nitro’s first assignment from Kraft. The shop beat out three agencies in a review: DDB, Draftfcb and mcgarrybowen.
KELLY’S ROAST BEEF: is out with a sweepstakes offering the chance to see the Boston Red Sox. Customers enter Kelly’s Dig in at the Dugout sweepstakes by completing an entry form in-store. One grand-prize winner gets two dugout seats at Fenway Park, and a $50 Kelly’s Roast Beef gift certificate. Lesser prizes include Red Sox home game tickets and restaurant gift certificates. The promotion runs through July 25. E-mail blasts and in-store signage support it.
