WENDY’S: has sold nearly 25 million premium hamburgers, called Baconactors, since the product’s eight-week launch. The company is promoting the item with TV spots, online and cinema advertising, which shows a customer in a Red Wig encouraging others to buy the burger. The Baconator includes six strips of bacon on a half-pound burger with American cheese, ketchup and mayonnaise.
NATIONAL LAMPOON: has launched a video channel on Yahoo Video at Video.Yahoo.com. Initial programming includes National Lampoon’s popular Webisodes, as well as National Lampoon’s SpinCycle mashimations and the Fat Guy Nation series.
