HASBRO INC.: has acquired privately held toy company Cranium and its range of branded games and products for $77.5 million. The deal is expected to close during the first quarter of 2008. Brands including Cranium, Cranium Hullabaloo and Cranium Whoonu will join such classic properties such as Monopoly, Clue and Scrabble as part of the company’s portfolio. Hasbro’s global games and puzzles net revenues in 2006 were about $1.3 billion.

KODAK PRINTING DIVISION: Kevin Joyce has been named chief marketing officer for Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, the group responsible for selling professional printing products and security solutions. Joyce, formerly the division’s managing director in the U.S. and Canada, was also recently named an Eastman Kodak vice president. He succeeds Jeff Hayzlett, who became Eastman Kodak chief business development officer in fall 2007.
