WAL-MART: is teaming up with Disney Consumer Products to offer Hannah Montana merchandise and products in its stores. The line includes a sportswear collection, T-shirts; watches, handbags, luggage and room accessories, footwear, makeup, spa and bath kits, assorted dolls, board games and electronic games for Nintendo DS and Wii. The retailer is also giving out an “all access pass” with the purchase of the “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Movie.” The pass offers a secret code that lets people download a Hannah Montana music video.

NEXICEN BRANDS: has acquired The Great American Cookie Co. from Mrs. Fields Famous Brands for $93.7 million. The Great American Cookie Co., a 300-store chain sells cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and smoothies. The purchase adds to Nexicen Brand’s other restaurant offerings, including MaggieMoo’s, Marble Slab Creamery, Pretzel Time and Pretzelmaker.

NEWSMAN’S OWN: is adding a new product to its roster: Wine. The company is rolling out Newman’s Own 2006 California Chardonnay and Newman’s Own 2006 California Cabernet Sauvignon. Each label features Newman’s signature face with a play on his most famous role as Butch in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.” The wine sells for $16 a bottle and is available nationwide.
