STARBUCKS: is teaming up with iTunes to launch a new program, called Pick of the Week, to give customers the chance to discover new music and videos. Each Tuesday, more than 7,000 Starbucks in the U.S. will stock a Pick of the Week downloadable card redeemable on the iTunes store at http://www.iTunes.com for a free song or music video picked by Starbucks Entertainment and iTunes. The first song available this week is Counting Crows’ new tune, “Washington Square.” Customers have up to 60 days from the date the songs are available to redeem the offer.

VH1: is running a contest for two free tickets to see Madonna in concert at New York’s Roseland Ballroom on April 30. Contestants must pen four lines of poetry to win the “4 Lines to See Madonna” promotion at the VH1 Blog at MadonnaTickets on VH1.com. Her next album, “Hard Candy,” is set for release one day before the Roseland show.
