TACO BELL: is rolling out a permanent line of frozen drinks, called Fruitista Freeze. The drinks, topped with strawberries, come in strawberry and mango strawberry and sell for $1.89. The launch is being supported by TV spots, handled by Draft FCB, print ads, radio spots and online marketing. Hispanic TV spots, created by Dieste, will also run. DEL TACO: is hitting the road in Southern California to sample its latest hot sauce, Del Inferno, via the Del Inferno truck. The vehicle, which is painted flames and smoke machine, will stop at the Santa Monica Pier May 24-26 offering samples and giveaways. Other stops last week included Angel Stadium and the Bernardino County Fair in Victorville, CA. The sauce is the company’s latest creation in 15 years.
