KASHI CO.: is expanding its product line to include two new foods: Kashi Honey Sunshine and TLC Tasty Little Cereal Bars. The new cereal features pillow-shaped cereal bites baked with honey and 20 grams of whole grains. The cereal bars come in Kashi Seven Whole Grains & Sesame blend in three flavors, Ripe Strawberry, Baked Apple Spice and Blackberry Graham. The products are available in stores nationwide.
MARTINI & ROSSI: has launched an ad campaign called The Martini Factory to encourage people to enjoy vermouth as an aperitif, a widely popular beverage in Europe, the company said. At the center of the campaign is a licensing deal to use artwork created by Andy Warhol for a Martini & Rossi Vermouth advertising campaign that ran in the late 1950s. These original works are reappearing in print ads. A collection of six Warhol-inspired vermouth cocktails will be enjoyed at an invitation-only party in New York City on Aug. 6., what would have been Warhol’s 80th birthday. This summer, the company will work with restaurants and bars to launch the cocktails in several key markets including New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, DC, New Orleans and Savannah, GA.
