PROCTER & GAMBLE: has agreed to sell its ThermaCare heat-wraps brand to Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, a provider of non-prescription medicines, vitamins and nutritional products and a division of Wyeth. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wyeth will maintain the facility where the heat wraps are manufactured in Albany, GA, the company said. The deal is expected to close within the next few months.

CHORION is launching a new division that will specialize in building consumer and corporate brands through marketing and promotional partnerships that build on the personality of its classic and iconic characters. The division, called Chorion Brand Partners, will create strategic partnerships with third-party blue-chip organizations to enhance their brand image by aligning them with properties including Paddington Bear, Mr. Men & Little Miss, Noddy and Beatrix Potter. In its first deal, Paddington Bear will serve as the face of British Airways children’s travel. Starting in October, all International British Airways flights in and out of the U.K. will distribute Paddington Bear branded travel packs for junior skyflyers aged three to five. The initial two-year deal provides scope for further development onboard, in airports and online.
