NetCreations, the list company that made its name with e-mail files, has introduced its first postal file, Premover.com.
Premover.com is a Web site featuring resources for people who are moving, such as realty, home-finance and storage information. People register for a chance to win a $2,000 gift certificate toward moving expenses. NetCreations took the registration information and created a separate file of names, addresses and moving dates.
The file contains 1 million records. There is also a 17,367-name 30-day hotline.
Selects include moving date range, recency, e-mail and state/SCF/ZIP. The base price is $75 per thousand.
Does entering the postal terrain signal a new direction for NetCreations? “This is our first postal file, we’re going to test it and see how it does,” said Alyssa Nahatis, national sales director for the New York company.
