Myutility Buys Assets of Utility.com

Myutility, an Oakland, CA-based energy services company, has acquired the technology and intellectual assets including the UtilityOne Web Platform from the bankrupt Utility.com, for an undisclosed price.

The platform delivers online customer acquisition, customer service and data exchange for utilities, energy providers, marketers, ISOs and service organizations. At the same time, Myutility hired the former Utility.com IT employees who were responsible for the creative design, IT infrastructure and development of the millions of lines of code supporting the platform’s functionality.
