Muldoon to Receive DMEF Award

The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation will honor Katie Muldoon, president of Muldoon & Baer, Inc. and America Online for their leadership roles in aiding and encouraging direct marketing education.

Involved in DMEF leadership activities for more than a decade, Muldoon has more than 30 years of direct marketing experience, including associations with more than 300 companies, many in the Fortune 50.

Muldoon has also served as an adjunct assistant professor at New York University Center for Direct Marketing and has taught the DMA’s Catalog Essentials Seminar for both consumer and business-to-business marketers for nearly two decades.

In addition, America Online has been selected to receive the 2004 DMEF Corporate Leadership Award. AOL has an outstanding record of support for industry education and the DMEF. AOL’s affiliation with the DMEF has helped sustain and grow many of the Foundation’s educational programs, according to the DMEF.

The DMEF Corporate Leadership Award honors a corporation that has made significant contributions to direct and interactive marketing education and is an active supporter of community and national organizations, including the DMEF. The award also recognizes a corporation that offers its own employees opportunities for personal and professional improvement and continuing education.
