Moxie Interactive Founder Departs; Lunenfeld Takes CEO Post

The co-founder and the CEO of Moxie Interactive, a division of Zenith Media Services, Kris Zagoria is leaving the company.

Zagoria said she plans to spend time with his family and “explore new creative avenues.”

Joel Lunenfeld, chief innovation officer, and a long-time partner of Zagoria’s replaced her effective yesterday. He has been with the firm for eight years building its media practice, and playing a key leadership role with many of the agency’s clients.

Zagoria founded Moxie Interactive in 2000, growing the agency from five employees to nearly 300 through a focus on award-winning interactive advertising and marketing programs for such clients as Verizon, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Garnier, Maybelline New York, 20th Century Fox and The Home Depot, among others.

Moxie Interactive has gained notoriety as a successful interactive agency selected as Atlanta’s No. 1 Largest & Fastest Growing Women-Owned Firm two years in a row by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Agency to Watch by MediaPost, and 2005 Marketer of the Year from the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, in addition to other awards.
