Mobile shoppingAccording to a study from Google, mobile-friendly sites convert users into customers much better than mobile-unfriendly sites do. The study found that 61 percent of people said that if they don’t find what they’re looking for right away on a mobile site, they’ll quickly move on to another site. Meanwhile, 67 percent of users say a mobile-friendly site makes them more likely to buy a product or use a service. Google also found that when visiting a mobile-friendly site, 74 percent of users say they’re more likely to return to the site in the future. Additionally, 52 percent of users say a bad mobile experience made them less likely to engage with the company. “Having a great mobile site is no longer just about making a few more sales,” according to Google. “It’s become a critical component of building strong brands, nurturing lasting customer relationships, and making mobile work for you.” (Google Mobile Ads Blog)
