Microsoft Corp. will design software for managing identities into Windows to increase security and give users more control over their personal information, according to a Reuters report.
The technology, called “info-cards,” will give users more control over their own personal data online, Reuters quoted Michael Stephenson, a director in Microsoft’s Windows Server division as saying.
The system will keep data stored on users’ personal computers, according to reports.
