Metris Companies Inc., St. Louis Park, MN will open an operations facility in Jacksonville, Florida on June 1, 1999. The new facility in the One Deerwood Building in Deerwood Park will be more than 150,000 square feet of office space and will initially accommodate more than 800 employees.
“This is just the latest step to maximize our presence in key areas nationwide,” said Metris president and CEO Ronald N. Zebeck in a statement. “We plan to turn our expansion efforts in the near future to our Minneapolis headquarters and our emerging presence in the Southwest.”
Metris Companies Inc. is an information-based direct marketer of consumer credit products and fee-based services primarily to moderate-income consumers.
