MarketTools Inc., an online market research firm, has bought CustomerSat, a provider of enterprise feedback management, for an undisclosed sum.
With this acquisition, CustomerSat chairman/ CEO John Chisholm becomes MarketTools executive vice president and general manager of its new CustomerSat unit.
The combination of the two companies establishes the foundation for Customer Insight Management — a new category of enterprise solutions based on gathering intelligence, sharing information, and applying insights throughout all phases of the product and customer lifecycle, from idea generation to new product development, in-market strategies, and customer engagement, retention and advocacy, according to Market Tools.
