Lyris Technologies has acquired e-mail deliverability company Piper Software for an undisclosed sum.
As a division of Berkeley, CA-based Lyris, Piper will maintain its existing data center and sales and development offices.
“The most significant challenge that legitimate e-mail marketers face these days is delivering their opt-in mail to the inbox,” said Lyris vice president of marketing Steven Brown in a statement. “Piper’s services provide the transparency and intelligence necessary to meet that goal.”
